Peace vs War 004
4) Coming Home Together vs Forever Separation
Normal Life
In normal times, we may feel annoyed when family members are noisy or messy.
But deep inside, we feel safe knowing everyone is under the same roof.
We see dad watching the news, kids playing, and mom cooking dinner.
This simple closeness gives us strength for the next day.
When we say goodbye in the morning, we know we will come back and meet again—
together at the dinner table in the evening.
Life in War
When war comes, “goodbye” may mean forever.
A father may be sent to the front line.
A mother may have to run away with her child in another direction to survive.
Families are broken apart by danger.
Parents suffer, not knowing if their child has food or is safe.
They imagine their child crying alone at night.
Separation feels like living with a broken heart.
All they can do is hope and pray to meet again.
The warmth of home disappears,
leaving only emptiness and loneliness in the sound of explosions.
War takes away the hugs that mean everything, and leaves wounds that never heal.
