Peace and War 016

16) Stable Work and Income vs Unemployment and No Income

Normal Life
In normal times, we may feel tired of waking up early for work, sitting in long meetings, or dealing with deadlines. But these things are signs of stability that support our families. A regular salary helps us buy milk for our children, pay school fees, and pay for our home. The job experience we build over many years is not just a title on a business card. It is the pride of hardworking people who know their effort can always give their loved ones a better life.

Life Changed by War
When war begins, office buildings may become ruins or close because the economy collapses. The job we once felt proud of can disappear in a moment when companies shut down because of war. Parents who were once skilled workers suddenly become unemployed. Stability is replaced by hopelessness in a world where no one is hiring. Savings slowly disappear while the prices of goods rise higher every day. Parents face the painful truth that their skills and knowledge may not even buy the next meal for their children. War does not only destroy buildings — it destroys the financial security of hardworking people and leaves them feeling useless in a violent world.

Peace is the foundation that gives value to hard work and helps families build a better future.
