Peace and War 014
14) Good Values from Parents vs Passing Down Hatred
Normal Life
The greatest gift parents want to give their children is not only money or property, but also a “good attitude” toward the world and other people. Parents teach their children to share snacks with friends, to forgive others after being hurt, and to grow kindness through small actions at home. They want their children to grow up with open hearts, seeing differences as something beautiful, and moving forward with hope instead of carrying anger from the past that they never created.
Life Changed by War
When war spreads, the values parents pass to their children can slowly turn into the “poison” of hatred and revenge. Painful losses seen with their own eyes can change innocence into deep anger toward the other side. Without meaning to, parents may pass their suffering and bitterness into the hearts of their children through words filled with pain. The next generation is forced to carry a conflict they never started. A mindset once filled with love and understanding becomes replaced by fear, suspicion, and revenge. This painful legacy can continue from generation to generation if violence is not stopped. Instead of inheriting peace, children may become trapped inside endless hatred created by war.
Peace is the only path that allows parents to pass down “love” to their children, instead of the “fuel” for future wars.
