Peace and War 005

5) Confident Steps vs The Fear of War

Normal Life

Good mental health in peaceful times means we can let our child walk to the small shop near the street corner without panicking at the sound of a loud engine.

It means we can plan a vacation with excitement and joy.

When people feel basically safe, they can focus on creating, working, and building a better future.

Children feel brave enough to explore the world with curiosity instead of fear.

Peace of mind gives people energy, confidence, and hope to move forward in life.

Life During War

War slowly poisons the spirit of a family with fear and suspicion.

Every step feels tense and unsafe.

Children become easily frightened, even by the sound of a door slamming.

Trust in other people disappears because anyone could be a spy or an enemy.

Parents spend all their energy watching for danger instead of dreaming about the future.

Daily survival becomes heavy, stressful, and exhausting.

This fear is one of the cruelest scars left behind by war.

Even after the last gunshot ends, emotional wounds can continue haunting families for the rest of their lives.

What remains is often only survival among the broken ruins of trust and peace.

Peace is not only the absence of bombs. Peace is the calm heartbeat inside every person.
